Load Bank

Why Load Bank?

Emergencies often occur unexpectedly. Many industries such as oil and gas, shipping, manufacturing or services industries like data centers or hospitals have extra generators onsite for standby purposes.
But what happens, if the backup generating set suddenly doesn’t work?
We know that these types of emergencies can result in anything right from financial losses to the loss of human lives. This is where load bank testing comes into picture!! We can keep the generating set in tested and ready condition
Depending upon the requirement one can decide whether to buy or rent a load bank. But as testing devices regularly keep them functioning properly and reliably, it is advisable to buy a load bank For multi time testing.
A load bank can be an important asset for variety of industries

What is a Load Bank?

“A load bank is a device, which can be either stationary or portable, used to replicate an electrical load, such that users can test generator or uninterruptable power supply (UPS) Or a DC source like batteries..”

  • The main aim of Generator load bank testing is to ensure your backup source of power remains reliable and provides maximum performance when needed.
  • If regular testing is done for the generators then their weaknesses can be detected at earlier stage, and hence they can be repaired for giving continuous power supply in case of unplanned Grid power disruption.
  • If regular testing is not done, many generators which are supposed to run on low load or even no load becomes unreliable.

Perennial Technologies provide high quality high power load banks manufacturing in India at a reasonable cost!
